Good Afternoon Everyone!

I hope had a great night! Monday is day 5 (Technology). Please bring in device. On Monday, December 17th we will have our dress rehearsal for our Christmas concert. Please come to school in your costume. If you need help finding items for your costume, please let me know! Please keep in mind on Tuesday, December 18th is our Christmas concert.

The Grade 5's have worked extra hard this past week for their Christmas concert, math test, spelling test and OWA post-assessment. As a reward students have the option to wear their casual clothes as it is casual day, or to wear they PJS on Wednesday, December 19th!

Re-registration packages were sent home. Please fill in forms and return by February.  Aftercare invoices are due by December 15^th. Be sure to pay on time to avoid interest charges!

Unfortunately due to Christmas concert we will be postponing our bake sale to Wednesday, December 19th and Thursday, December 20th. A kind reminder to make sure that all baked goods do not contain traces of peanuts or tree nuts. Thank you in advance!

Hot lunch for January is now open. The special for January is French toast with fruit. The website will close on Wednesday, December 19th at 3:00pm. A kind reminder to please make sure you are ordering under the right grade and teacher!

March Break Camp registration forms were sent home. If you are interested please fill in the form and bring it back to school as soon as possible. 

*Please note that students doing any after school activity, soccer, karate, yoga, etc. will be charged until 4:00 PM in aftercare, when they will be dismissed to their program with their coach!**

Today in UOI students presented their PowerPoint to the class. Please study the circulatory system over the weekend!

Inquiry into Mathematics

Today students wrote their Unit #4 Decimals test. Our next Unit will begin in the new year. 

Inquiry into Language

Today in Language students wrote spelling test #14. Also students wrote their OWA post-assement. Next week we will continue with spelling lesson #15 and have our spelling test on Thursday, December 20th. 

Homework: 

- Sign + Spelling corrections x 5

- Study the circulatory system

- Practice for Christmas concert
- Have costumes ready for Monday
- Relax :)
