I hope had a terrific weekend! Tomorrow is day 6 (Christmas concert rehearsal). Please bring in device for tomorrow. Tomorrow is our Christmas concert performances one at 12:30pm and the second one at 7pm. Please come to school in your costume. If you need help finding items for your costume, please let me know! For tomorrow night, please arrive at 6pm in our class room.
A kind remember that students are able to wear their PJS on Wednesday, December 19th OR they can wear their casual clothes!
Our bake sale will be held on Wednesday, December 19th and Thursday, December 20th. This month our class is responsible for the bake sale, if you are bringing anything in for the bake sale, please to make sure that all baked goods do not contain traces of peanuts or tree nuts. Thank you in advance!
Re-registration packages were sent home. Please fill in forms and return by February.
Hot lunch for January is now open. The special for January is French toast with fruit. The website will close on Wednesday, December 19th at 3:00pm. A kind reminder to please make sure you are ordering under the right grade and teacher!

Christmas Countdown:
Today SJA staff wore their Christmas Sweaters!
Today we were in and out of the classroom as we had our dress rehearsal for our Christmas concert at the dome.
Unit of Inquiry
Today in UOI we watched a Bill Nye the Science Guy video on bones and muscles. Students did a fill in the blank activity while watching the video. Students also had a pop quiz today for the circulatory system. Students labeled the parts of the heart.
Inquiry into Language
Today students worked on spelling lesson #15. This week we are focusing on prefixes pre, pro, re and ex, and vowel digraphs au and aw. We also practice our typing on typingclub.com. You can make a free account at home if you would like to practice more throughout the Holidays!
Inquiry into Math
Today we worked on a fun math package.
