I hope had a wonderful night! Tomorrow is day 4 (Gym, French, Music and House tie day). Please keep in mind we have our Fractions Unit Test (decimals) tomorrow.
The Grade 5's have worked extra hard this past week for their Christmas concert, math test, spelling test and OWA post-assessment. As a reward students have the option to wear their casual clothes as it is casual day, or to wear they PJS on Wednesday, December 19th!
On Monday, December 17th we will have our dress rehearsal for our Christmas concert. Please come to school in your costume. If you need help finding items for your costume, please let me know! Please keep in mind on Tuesday, December 18th is our Christmas concert.
Re-registration packages were sent home. Please fill in forms and return by February. Report cards were sent last week. Please review and return the last page with your comments on it. Aftercare invoices are due by December 15th. Be sure to pay on time to avoid interest charges!
Unfortunately due to Christmas concert we will be postponing our bake sale to Wednesday, December 19th and Thursday, December 20th. A kind reminder to make sure that all baked goods do not contain traces of peanuts or tree nuts. Thank you in advance!
Hot lunch for January is now open. The special for January is French toast with fruit. The website will close on Wednesday, December 19th at 3:00pm. A kind reminder to please make sure you are ordering under the right grade and teacher!

*Please note that students doing any after school activity, soccer, karate, yoga, etc. will be charged until 4:00 PM in aftercare, when they will be dismissed to their program with their coach!**

Today in math we took up last nights review. Please study tonight for your math test tomorrow.
Inquiry into Language
Today in language we completed our last activity to prepare for our OWA post-assessment tomorrow. Reminder: make sure you include a hook in your introduction, your opinion, examples/facts/ reasons (3) and a conclusion. Also, we will have our spelling test tomorrow.
Unit of Inquiry
Today in partners students got familiar with PowerPoint or Google slides by creating a powerpoint from their choice of the skeletal system or the circulatory system. They had a bunch of fun learning how to create their own PowerPoint.
