Good Afternoon!

To start our day students had Music with Mr. Oliver, then French with Mme. Rawan.

Inquiry into Math: We learned/ went over what standard form, expanded form and number-word form is.  We also learned place value up to billions.
For example: If our number is 30 200 150
- Standard form: is just the number written out (30 200 150)
- Expanded form: 30 000 000 + 200 000 + 100 +50
- Number- word form: 30 million, 200 thousand, 1 hundred and 50

After lunch students had Gym with Mr. Orr

Next we had Inquiry into Language: During our language period we worked on comprehension questions relating to Chapter 1.

Unit of Inquiry: In UOI today we watched a video on the 3 States of Matter; solid, liquid, gas and took notes as we watched. Then we created an anchor chart to show what we learned in the video. Lastly, we worked on a solid, liquid and gas reading then answered fill in the blank questions.
