I hope you had a wonderful day! When we return from the break; Monday, March 23, it will be a day 1 (Gym and Music). Please wear your gym uniform to school and bring your gym shoes!

Spelling Bee notices and words have been sent home. Please review them over the March Break! Also, please complete Robinson Crusoe. There are instructions at the end of the booklet. This allows students to practice their reading and comprehension for our term 3 DRA. Please complete over the March Break

Please take some time to check our lost and found, which is over flowing. Anything that is not collected will be donated over March Break to the Diabetes Association. Hot lunch payments are due this Friday, March 6. After care invoices are due Sunday, March 15. Scholastic is due March 24. 

 ** For our coding unit, which begins in May, students will need to have a working laptop and email address, as they will be required to send their work to me via email. Gmail accounts were most popular last year!**

SJA 2019/2020 Yearbooks

An order form has been sent home with your child. All hardcover yearbooks are $20 and all orders are due no later than May 8. You can pay via cheque (please make payable to SJA), cash or Quickbooks (you will be invoiced). Don’t wait too long as there are only 200 copies!

Inquiry into Language
Today students wrote pg.10 of the report card and prepared for Student-Led Conferences. We also watched the Shannen documentary. 

After March Break we will begin our next novel study: Hatchet and practice for Spelling-Bee

Our first unit after March Break will be Transformational Geometry. Our last two units will be Fractions and Probability.
