Good Afternoon Everyone!

I hope you had a great day! Monday is day 1 (Gym and Music). Please come to school dressed in your gym uniform and bring your running shoes.
On Monday our book fair will begin. More information to come.

Book Fair:
Polar Expressions is back again this year and they are looking for students to have the chance to publish poems and short stories in an upcoming book. Information sheets have been sent. Students who are interested in this competition can do so on their own time, as class time will not be given. The deadline for poems is November 29th and the deadline for short stories is December 6th

Inquiry into Language
Today students wrote spelling test #11, and we had a mini spelling-bee competition. We also started to rehears our Christmas Concert performance

Inquiry into Mathematics
Today students explored thousandths using decimal and fractions. We also took up the correct answers from our most recent math test. Math tests have been sent home. Please review, sign and return them for Monday.

Unit of Inquiry
Today students continued to work on their Ancient Civilization summative.

For our Ancient Civilizations summative students will be recreating an ancient artifact from one of the civilizations we studied. As of now, we will be beginning the summative the week of November 18th with a due date of Friday, November 29th. A kind reminder that all summatives are to be done in class only, and to not be done at home unless otherwise stated.

We also visited our reading buddies in Ms. Hughes's class!
