I hope you had a great day! Tomorrow is day 4 (Library). Please bring your device tomorrow as we will be working on our summative. Lunch orders and payments are due tomorrow, as well picture re-takes are taking place tomorrow. Our next field trip will be to the ROM on Thursday, November 21st. Students will be required to wear their full winter uniform, including blazers – no house hoodies please. Be sure to back a disposable lunch. We will be leaving a little before 10 AM and arriving back sometime around 3 PM, traffic dependent of course. If you are interested in volunteering, please ensure you have a Vulnerable Sector Screen on file with the school prior to the trip. If you have already submitted one, please be sure to sign our annual defence declaration at the front reception.

Polar Expressions is back again this year and they are looking for students to have the chance to publish poems and short stories in an upcoming book. Information sheets have been sent. Students who are interested in this competition can do so on their own time, as class time will not be given. The deadline for poems is November 29th and the deadline for short stories is December 6th
Today we had our Science Fair Ceremony. A job well-done to all PYP students for participating in Science Fair! Congratulations to Medha, Nicole, and Daksh who placed in the top 3 for our class!
Inquiry into Language
Today we used our language time for UOI as we will be missing UOI on Thursday.
Inquiry into Mathematics
Today students wrote our unit #3 math test. Our next unit, Fractions, will take us right up until Christmas break. As of now our test will be Friday, December 13th.
Unit of Inquiry
Today students continued to work on their Ancient Civilization summative. For our Ancient Civilizations summative students will be recreating an ancient artifact from one of the civilizations we studied. As of now, we will be beginning the summative the week of November 18th with a due date of Friday, November 29th. A kind reminder that all summatives are to be done in class only, and to not be done at home unless otherwise stated.
