Good Afternoon Everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful night! Tomorrow is day 1 (French and reading buddies). Tomorrow presentations will continue and mark our completion of our first UOI. A kind reminder that the ROM permission forms are due no later than Monday, October 22 - no exceptions.

** The chilly fall feeling like winter weather has begun. Please send students to school with a warm coat (mittens, hat and a scarf) . A sweater simply is not warm enough for this weather**

Inquiry into Math

Today students earned some time to play math games after yesterdays test! We had fun playing with our peers!

Inquiry into Language

Today in language students independently read chapter 16 of Percy Jackson. Once students were finished reading they answered Chapter 16 comprehension questions. If questions were not completed in class, it is for homework and due tomorrow.

Unit of Inquiry

Today before presentation students got an opportunity to practice and go over their boards to make sure they were prepared for their presentations. Today was the first day of our Matter/ Science Fair presentations. Students that did not go today will present tomorrow.  I will send home the rubrics as soon as I can for you to review. Please do not forget that our SJA Science Fair will be taking place on Friday, November 16.

On Monday we will begin our next Unit of Inquiry - Ancient Civilizations. We will begin by learning about Ancient Rome then Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt.
