I hope you had a great night! Tomorrow is day 6 (Summative presentations, Gym and French). Please remember to bring your gym clothes.  A kind reminder regarding presentations. Presentations will begin tomorrow and continue on Friday. If students have a video and would like to show it for their in class presentation (Tomorrow/ Friday), you may send it to me so I can put it on our TV. For the Science Fair presentation students must bring in their own device to show the video. Also, please bring a device tomorrow/ Friday 


Inquiry into Language

Today once students finished their math test, they began working on Percy Jackson  Chapter 15. If questions were not completed in class, they are due tomorrow.

Today we wrote our Unit 1 - Patterning Test. We will begin Unit #6 - Measurement on Monday, October 22.

Unit of Inquiry

Today we continued to work on your first UOI summative. Students began designing and gluing items to their display board. This display board will be used for the Science Fair on Nov 16 as well.  A kind reminder regarding presentations. Presentations will begin tomorrow and continue on Friday. Please be prepared to present. If students have a video and would like to show it for their in class presentation (Tomorrow/ Friday), you may send it to me so I can put it on our TV. The hot lunch site is open for November ordering. The site will close Friday, October 26^th. November hot lunch payments will be due by Friday, November 9^th. Please ensure that you are ordering lunch for your child under the correct grade and teacher. **Do not order lunch for Thursday, November 8, as we are on our ROM trip.**

**Please note that students doing any after school activity, soccer, karate, yoga, etc. will be charged until 4:00 PM in aftercare, when they will be dismissed to their program with their coach!**

Don't forget about Polar Expressions Publishing! The poetry deadline is November 16^th, 2018 and the short story deadline is November 23^rd, 2018.

Scholastic Book orders have been sent home. All orders are due no later than Thursday, October 18, 2018. Payments can be made using Cheque or Parent Pay. Cash will not be accepted as a form of payment. For Parent Pay please log on to parentpay.scholastic.ca/pay and enter the following credentials
