Happy Friday Everyone!

To start our day we had Music with Mr. Oliver and French with Mme. Rawan.

Next we had Inquiry into Math: today we learned how to find multiples and common multiples. We know that to find multiples you must figure out if they are divisible by a given number. Example:
- What is the multiple of 6,9,12,15? The answer is 3, because all of the numbers can be divided (divisible) by 3
- The multiple of 4 are: 4,8,12,16,20,24,28,32,36,40
- The multiples of 6 are: 6,12,18,24,36,......

     - The numbers 12, 24 and 36 appear in both lists, because they are multiples of both 4 and 6 which             makes them common multiples

Followed by Inquiry into Language: today we had our first spelling test of the year.


To end our day we had Unit of Inquiry: today we worked on reading worksheet and filled in the blanks of a story. Once students were finished with fill in the blanks they worked on a cut and paste activity showing the changes of the 3 states of Matter.

Reminder: October hot lunch can now be ordered. The site will close on September 26th at 3:00 PM, so please get your orders in before then, as the site cannot be re-opened. October hot lunch payments are due by October 10th. Please ensure you are ordering under the correct grade and teacher. 

**Please note that students doing any after school activity, soccer, karate, yoga, etc. will be charged until 4:00 PM in aftercare, when they will be dismissed to their program with their coach!
