I hope you had a great day! Tuesday is day 3 (Library). Please ensure that library books are returned to Mrs. Hayward. Aftercare payments are now overdue. Please pay at your earliest convenience to avoid interest being charged to your account!! There is no school for students tomorrow, May 17th and Monday, May 20th.
Unit of Inquiry
Today in UOI we watched two short clips about how technology has changed the world, and how technology has changed us (humans) in unexpected ways. Then students began on mini-project #4. For this project students have to create a timeline about technology and how it has changed over time. The graphics or how students display their timeline is not to be done on the computer or technology.
Inquiry into Language
Today in language we continued to work on our Hatchet packages. Rough copies were due today along with two peer edits. Good copies will be due on the Tuesday following the long weekend.
Inquiry into Mathematics
Today students wrote their math test for our transformational geometry unit. I will hopefully mark the tests over the weekend and have them handed back next week.
