Inquiry into Language

Inquiry into Mathematics

Today in math we learned how to subtract fractions. Subtracting fractions is very similar to adding fractions. First, we must find a common denominator, then you can subtract your numerators.

Unit of Inquiry

Today in UOI we learned how to classify, more specifically the 'tree classification' system. As a class we classified the galaxy and branched off to the earth, continents, countries and provinces as an example. Then moved on to classifying things we may use in our everyday life, such as a cook book and books in the library.

Biodiversity is another short unit. We will have roughly 3-3.5 weeks of learning and 1/5-2 weeks for our summative, which will be due sometime during the last full week of April. More information to come in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks to 'A' for sharing some action about biodiversity and sharing a short clip with the class!
