Inquiry into Mathematics
Today in Math we started our new unit #4 - Decimals. We explored numbers in the media. We learned how to put large numbers into decimals and fractions. We also created some of our own headlines for the media using decimals. For example 2 250 000 = 2.25 million.
- .25 million = 1/4 of a million.
Therefore 2 250 000 can be written as 2.25 million or 2 1/4 million
Inquiry into Language
Today we had some time to complete our review lesson for spelling (Lesson 12). If it was not completed in class it is for homework due on Wednesday. There will be no spelling test this week as it is a review week.
